Graduate employment for UWE Bristol at record levels

The University of the West of England, Bristol has seen graduate employment return to new record highs since the 2008 economic downturn.

Unemployment among recent UWE Bristol graduates in 2012 fell to 5% against a national average of 9% for all UK graduates.

The university also received strong results in professional and managerial employment. 66% of graduates have found employment which is 2% above the national average.

We are proud to provide real world experience through placements, volunteering opportunities and lectures by industry experts for our students and delighted to see this lead to such a strong graduate employability record. This is a tremendous result showing that our students are really wanted by employers. We can confidently say that studying for a degree at UWE Bristol delivers huge benefits for students and employers alike.
