Fuel tanker drivers have voted to go on strike in a row over safety standards. Around 2,000 of the Unite Union at various companies, including Chippenham-based haulage firm Wincanton, were balloted for the first national campaign of action for over a decade.
The MD of Manufacturing at Wincanton, Chris Kingshott, has called the action 'ill timed' and 'inappropriate'.
