Plans for a Bristol Arena could make a come back

Plans for a ten thousand-seat venue next to Temple meads station were ditched five years ago after a developer pulled out. Now the council and local enterpirse partnership are hoping it will form part of a hi-tech communications centre backed with government money.

New Arena For Bristol

Bristol Mayor, George Ferguson, has agreed to release £250,000 to look into the possibility of building an Arena within the Bristol Enterprise Zone near to Temple Meads Railway Station.
