The NHS Trust has issued a statement after an inquest into the death of 16 year old Diana Moore, who died at Frenchay Hospital in 2006 T
The coroner said Diana's visits to the the hospital all resulted in a lost opportunity to give treatment.
The statement reads:
North Bristol NHS Trust accepts the Coroner’s verdict.
FollowingMiss Moore’s death in 2006, a number of improvements were made to the service,including the appointment of two consultant paediatric neurosurgeons.
The Trust would like totake this opportunity to repeat our sincere apologies and condolences to thefamily and friends of Diana Moore.
