Gloucestershire student to lobby Government for more funds to help cure diabetes
A University of Bath student who was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of five is lobbying Parliament today to raise awareness of the disease.
22-year-old Elizabeth Sheils is a youth ambassador for the charity Juvenile Diabetes Research, and is supporting a campaign to raise awareness of type 1 diabetes and to get funding for more research.
