Explosives charges: Man due in court

A 52-year-old man is due before magistrates charged under the Explosives Act.

Martin Counsell from Cheltenham was arrested when explosives were found in some garages in the town. He's been charged with making an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose.

More than 600 people were forced to leave their homes last week and four controlled explosions were carried out. A 31-year-old man also arrested has been released without charge.
