Shot solicitor remains in critical condition
A man remains in hospital with life threatening injuries after being shot in the head in a solicitors office in Wiltshire.
Police were called to Morris, Goddard and Ward on St John's Street in Devizes yesterday afternoon.
The victim, named locally as 58-year-old solicitor James Ward, from Westbury, was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol. His family are at his side.
A 62-year old man is in custody in Melksham, and a weapon has been recovered.
Road closures around the building have now been lifted.
