The funeral of a Wiltshire actor, most famous for his role in the ITV series Inspector Morse, is due to take place this afternoon.
James Grout, from Malmesbury, played Chief Superintendent Strange in the popular show.
He died last week at the age of 84.
The service will be held at 2pm at Westerleigh Crematorium near Bristol.
He had lived in Malmesbury since 1977 with his wife Noreen, where he wrote a regular column for his local newspapers.
The RADA-trained actor died at Ashgrove Nursing Home in Purton in Wiltshire.
