Police carried out surveillance on political campaigners during the Glastonbury Festival. Details of their activities - including their home addresses and phone numbers - were recorded in a database run by a secretive police operation.
Police also recorded that the campaigners had set up a stall at the festival and were selling political publications. The evidence was discovered following a request under the data protection act by one of the activists.
