Staff at Bristol's Remploy factory are expected to go on strike today. The site employs people with disabilities, most of whom are taking part in the GMB Union action, after the government announced it would be closing 27 of the 36 Remploy factories.
GMB & Unite responded to the government announcement today in the House of Commons confirming that 27 or the 36 Remploy factories scheduled to close in the first wave of closure would close from August 2012 and the will be completed by December 2012
