Tewkesbury Borough Council has successfully brought a prosecution against an unlicensed private hire driver.
Paul Grainger, 44, from Hayden Hill Farm in Boddington offered chauffer services such as airport transfers, business travel and Cotswold tours without holding a valid licence.
Grainger was found guilty in his absence by Cheltenham Magistrates' Court of two counts of operating a vehicle as a private hire vehicle without having a current licence. He was fined £400 for each offence, ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £500 costs.
Tewkesbury Borough Council are asking the public to get in touch with them if they have any concerns about any private hire vehicle they may have used.
