Opponents of the badger culls have lost their latest legal challenge. The Badger Trust were appealing against an earlier ruling that culls in Somerset and Gloucestershire could go ahead without independent monitors.

The Badger Trust has lost an appeal challenging proposed badger culls in Gloucestershire and West Somerset. It says it will not give up on its campaign against government plans to kill badgers in an effort to reduce Bovine TB in cattle. Ken Goodwin takes a look at both sides of the debate.
