Crowds have lined the streets of Nailsworth to welcome Olympic gold medallist Peter Reed back to the West Country.
Reed and his team retained the men's coxless four title first won in Beijing in 2008.
In celebration of his success Reed has been honoured with a civic reception this morning. It will be followed by a tour of his home town in an open top bus this afternoon.
