New company to run Bristol City football club and Bristol Rugby Club
Stephen Lansdown, the owner of Bristol City football club and Bristol rugby club has formed a new company to run both clubs.
Bristol Sport Limited (BSL) will oversee the finances of both organisations under the guidance of new chairman Martin Griffiths.
– Stephen LansdownI said at the time of the acquisition there was a great synergy between the two clubs and that I intended for them to work closely together.
When Martin Griffiths said he would come on board I was delighted as it gave the company an independent business-focused leader, which is just what we need to develop the commercial opportunities and to keep a strong grip on the finances.

Yeovil Town won for a club record 8th time in a row. Bristol Rovers also won, Cheltenham drew and Bristol City lost in the Severnside derby.
