Olly Barkley kicked 16 points in his farewell game for Bath, as Sale were beaten 31 - 10 at The Rec.
Barkley, who is joining French club Racing Metro, kicked four out of four penalties, and converted tries by David Wilson and Stuart Hooper.
The hosts were also awarded a late penalty try.

Yeovil Town won for a club record 8th time in a row. Bristol Rovers also won, Cheltenham drew and Bristol City lost in the Severnside derby.
