Man arrested after Portishead assault
A man is being treated in hospital after being attacked at a house in Somerset.
Police were called to the property on Glebe Avenue in Portishead in the early hours of yesterday morning [Saturday 6 October], and the man taken to Frenchay Hospital near Bristol to be treated for his injuries.
He is said to be in a stable condition.
Craig Roberts, 28, from Clevedon has been charged with assault and grievous bodily harm with intent.
Mr Roberts is due to appear at North Somerset Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Monday).
