40th anniversary of The Magic Roundabout
It's the 40th anniversary of one of Swindon's most iconic landmarks. The Magic Roundabout was designed by Norman Pritchard in 1972. It consists of five mini-roundabouts arranged around a sixth central, anti-clockwise roundabout.
It's been voted Britain's scariest junction and still brings fear to young drivers.
