BAE Systems and EADS merger deal expected

A decision in expected today on the merger of one of the South West's biggest companies.

Defence contractor BAE Systems is in talks with the parent company of Bristol-based Airbus - European Aeronautic, Defence & Space (EADS). The firm, which has sites in Filton and Yeovil, says combining businesses with would create the world's biggest aerospace and defence company.
