Legal challenge threatens badger cull
A last minute legal challenge has dealt a fresh blow to the the Government's plans to cull badgers in Somerset and Gloucestershire.
Lawyers for the Badger Trust are challenging the legality of the plans on public safety grounds. They argue the public's right to safety is put at risk by the fact that no warnings will be posted around the cull areas, meaning people could walk into the shooting area.
