First Great Western has just issued this statement:
"Network Rail has advised us that it is unsafe to operate services through Chipping Sodbury and the Severn Tunnel due to flooding. Presently all lines between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston Super Mare - leading to Taunton and Bristol Parkway to Gloucester are blocked. Services from Bristol Parkway into South Wales are also subject to cancellation or delay.The Severn Tunnel has now reopened - and services between Bristol Parkway and Newport are returning to normal, but some services may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 120 minutes. "
