Unions are meeting with Royal Mail this morning (8am) in a last-ditch attempt to prevent a strike by postal workers in South Bristol that could affect Christmas mail.
Staff say they can't cope with the amount of mail they're expected to handle, but Royal Mail says the high level of sick leave is the problem. The workers have already voted in favour of a strike.
