NHS trust says 'it's a real shame'
A local MP and the Health Minister have criticised North Somerset Primary Care Trust for scrapping plans for a new hospital in Clevedon. Liam Fox led a debate in the House of Commons and called the decision a 'shambles'.
Building was due to start on the 15 million pound facility in October, but the NHS Trust did a U-turn saying it was no longer financially viable.
