Cutting of Holy Thorn for the Queen
A tradition that dates back hundreds of years to the reign of James the First is taking place in Glastonbury today.
A sprig from the town's Holy Thorn is to be cut for the Queen. It only flowers twice a year and the cutting will grace the Royal dining table this Christmas.
It's believed the original thorn grew when Joseph of Arimathea, a friend of Jesus, stuck his staff into the ground.
