“Signing this new contract means that I will be playing for Somerset into my mid 30s which is a huge personal achievement. Not many players have a career that length so I am very fortunate to get this opportunity with the Club that I love playing for.
These are very exciting times for Somerset and I feel that I have got a lot to offer with regards to us getting that first County Championship under our belts. It’s great to be given the security of knowing that I am a wanted man at the County Ground.”
