£50,000 found in car after Bristol drugs operation

Police in Bristol made five significant drugs arrests after a Christmas Eve crackdown.

Officers witnessed an exchange of drugs take place in Totterdown. On stopping the men, they found one and a half kilos of cocaine in the foot well of a car.

As a result another car was stopped. Two other people were arrested and around £50,000 recovered in cash.

Four men were charged on Christmas Day and appeared at Bristol Magistrates court on Boxing Day.

Duncan Valle, aged 28, Jonathan Cronky, aged 36, Colin Ralphs, aged 33 and Simon Wigley aged 55 were all remanded into custody.

A fifth man, Keith Valle, was arrested and released on police bail.
