Pedestrian killed in M5 crash
A man has died after he was hit by a lorry on the M5 in Gloucestershire. It happened between junction 10 and 9 at 6pm last night, closing the motorway northbound from junction 11 at Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, to junction 9 at Tewkesbury.
– Great Western Ambulance spokesmanWe had a call shortly before 6pm, with a lorry reported to have struck a pedestrian on the M5.
The paramedic first on the scene reported back that a single male patient was involved, and the pedestrian appeared to be fatal at the scene.
