Rovers sign Ryan Brunt
Bristol Rovers have signed striker Ryan Brunt.
The 19 year old has joined the club from Stoke and has taken up a two and a half year deal.
– John Ward, Bristol Rovers ManagerI noticed him when I was at Colchester and he was playing for Tranmere, so I have known about him for about 12 months.
He has also played for Leyton Orient, so although he is only 19 he does come with experience of the lower levels.
He is a big lad and a line leader. He is what you would describe as an old fashioned centre forward, and he has goals in him, which is obviously important.
Club record eighth win in a row for the Glovers
Yeovil Town won for a club record 8th time in a row. Bristol Rovers also won, Cheltenham drew and Bristol City lost in the Severnside derby.
O'Driscoll gets the better of his former club
There were wins today for both Bristol clubs and Yeovil Town. Swindon Town could only draw and Cheltenham Town slipped to defeat.
