A pig who was rescued from slaughter is looking for love this Valentine's Day. Seven-year-old Janey was destined for the dinner table when her breeding days were over, but her owners were very fond of her and could not bring themselves to have her killed.
They approached animal charity HorseWorld to see if it could give her a home. Now staff are inviting people to the charity's base at Whitchurch, near Bristol, to give her a hug and a scratch and even adopt her for £20.
The money raised then goes towards continuing the charity's rescue work.
