Hit-and-run driver sentenced to eight years

The wife of a drugs baron who went on the run after killing a policeman's wife in a car crash has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

Paula Barnes, from Baydon near Swindon, fled to the Netherlands after the incident which killed primary school teacher Diane Wright.

Mrs Wright's husband told ITV News West Country the accused had killed a wonderful wife and mother.
