The former headteacher of a Somerset Primary School, who was warned ten times about another member of staff abusing pupils, is facing a classroom ban. Christopher Hood was in charge of Hillside First School in Worle, where teacher Nigel Leat abused pupils as young as six for up to 14 years.
Leat was jailed and Mr Hood lost his job. Today he appeared before a professional conduct panel. David Woodland reports.
