Narrow bollards in Worle

There are calls tonight for North Somerset council to remove two sets of bollards which are only slightly wider than the width of most cars. The gap is so narrow that some motorists have lost wing mirrors or scratched paintwork.

Traffic bollards in Weston-super-Mare will not be removed despite hundreds of objections from residents.

People in Worle say the the gap between the posts is too small for a car to drive through. North Somerset Council says it can't afford to upgrade the road for heavier traffic.
