Comedian Harry Hill is visiting the Aardman Studios in Bristol this morning to unveil a giant statue of Gromit that he has painted.
The work will form part of the Gromit Unleashed project. It is led by Aardman and Bristol Children’s Hospital charity, and involves 70 giant individually-decorated Gromits springing up across Bristol for ten weeks from 1 July.
The first four of 70 Gromit sculptures to be designed by internationally-renowned artists have been revealed in Bristol.
Dozens of giant sculptures of one of the country's best-loved TV characters will be unleashed onto the streets of Bristol next summer.
