In the Championship, Bristol left it late to beat Jersey 29-23 in Andy Robinson's first game in charge. Adrian Jarvis scored 24 of Bristol's points, including one try. Fautua Otto also crossed the line in the second half as Robinson's men came from behind to win the match.
Exeter Chiefs beat West Country rivals Gloucester with the last kick of the match at Sandy Park. Bath lost 23-14 at Saracens.
Cheltenham Town move up to fourth in League Two after a 1-0 win at Exeter. There were also wins for Yeovil and Swindon in League One.
