- BATH 20 - 36 STADE FRANCAIS
Bath's hopes of winning the European Challenge Cup - a competition they last won 5 years ago - were dashed by a strong Stade Francais team.
Star of the show was Fijian Waisea Vuidarvuwalu who scored two first half tries and had a hand in the others.
The French side led 20-3 at the break, so it was important for Bath to get an early second-half score. They did - from a penalty try.
But Stade weren't going to let the hosts back into the game. Hugo Bonneval restored their cushion, and the same player killed the game off when he crossed the line again just two minutes later.
The scoreline was made more respectable when Michael Claassens and Jack Cuthbert scored two late tries, but it's the Frenchmen who go through to the semi-final.
Exeter Chiefs beat West Country rivals Gloucester with the last kick of the match at Sandy Park. Bath lost 23-14 at Saracens.
Cheltenham Town move up to fourth in League Two after a 1-0 win at Exeter. There were also wins for Yeovil and Swindon in League One.
Yeovil Town and Cheltenham Town have both secured play-off places in their respective divisions after wins today.
