Police have charged a man with the murder of a 45-year-old woman in Amesbury, Wiltshire.
James Roy Simister, 49, of Maple Way, Amesbury is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning.
Officers were called to a house in Maple Way on Monday evening and found the woman with serious injuries. She later died in hospital.
Formal identification of the victim has not yet been completed.
