The former headteacher of a primary school in North Somerset where pupils were abused by another member of staff has been banned from teaching.
Christopher Hood was in charge of Hillside First School in Worle, where teacher Nigel Leat abused children as young as six.
Hood was warned of the abuse ten times. A professional conduct panel said he failed in his responsibilities and banned him from teaching indefinitely.
