RUGBY: Gloucester lose at Sale

In rugby tonight, Gloucester's hopes of reaching the Premiership play-offs suffered a setback as they lost at Sale.

The Cherry and Whites would have moved above Northampton and Harlequins into third place with a victory. But they only had three penalties from Freddie Burns to show for their night's work as they lost by 32 points to nine.
