Hundreds of people have gathered in Taunton tonight in opposition to plans for hundreds of houses on a popular green space.
Developers want to build more than 300 homes on the Vivary Green Wedge extending from Taunton's town centre.
Taunton Deane Borough Council's planners have recommended the scheme for approval. The planning committee is expected to make a final decision tonight.
