A protest is expected later at the offices of Taunton Deane Borough Council to oppose plans for hundreds of houses on a popular green space.
Developers want to build more than three hundred homes on the Vivary Green Wedge extending from Taunton's Town Centre. A previous application for six hundred homes on the site was thrown out.
More than 800 people have written to the council objecting to the scheme.
