Ashton Court near Bristol plays host to a two-day disc golf tournament this weekend. Also known as Frisbee golf, the aim is to hit a metal basket. Competitors use a variety of discs depending on distance and the type of shot required.

The contest marks the middle of the British Disc Golf Association tour, while the venue is a recently-completed 18-hole course in the woods next to Balloon Field. The event's been organised by the Bristol Aces Disc Golf Club. More details here .
