Police are appealing for help to identify a man who died this morning after being rescued from Bristol's docks. The man, believed to be in his late 20s, was found in the water at Narrow Quay at around 6am. He later died at the Bristol Royal Infirmary.
He's described as being of medium build with a light brown full beard and light brown short hair. He had an earring bar in the top of his right ear and was wearing a black Superdry jacket with a black t-shirt underneath, green jeans and black Dr Marten style boots with hand written pictures on them.
Sgt Nick Evans said: "This is a tragic situation when despite the best efforts of the emergency services and medical staff we were not able to save this man. We are currently trying to identify him so we can inform his family and I would ask that if anyone recognises him they contact Bristol CID."
