Bristol's first 'Recovery Cafe' will be officially opened by Mayor George Ferguson this afternoon.

Housed in part of St Mary Redcliffe Church, it's run by people getting over dependence to drug or alcohol. It will provide employment and volunteering opportunities for those in recovery.

The cafe will work in partnership with the City of Bristol College to provide volunteers with access to training in food safety, customer service and a range of other courses.
