A special service to say goodbye to the 78th Bishop of Bath and Wells takes place today. The Rt Revd Peter Price, is to retire from his position as head of the diocese. The service at Wells Cathedral, starts at 2pm, with a party on the Green afterwards
The Bishop, who is now 69, has served in the role for nearly 11 years. During his tenure, he spent many years serving in the House of Lords where he took particular interest in international aid and foreign affairs.
He is now due to take up a new role with Conciliation Resources, an international charity working for reconciliation in areas of war and conflict.
