Anger, emotion and real concern were all evident at a public meeting today in protest at controversial plans to privatise Weston General Hospital in North Somerset.
UNISON offered its support to the event, during which many people expressed real fears about their local hospital leaving the NHS.
The country's biggest trade union says if this happens it will be bad news for staff, patients and the local community.
