Twelve people have been arrested and police officers injured after Bristol City and Bristol Rovers met at Ashton Gate last night. At the end of the game police say fans got on to the pitch and officers worked with stewards to bring them under control.
Known hooligans attached to both clubs were identified and arrested. Three police officers who were injured have received medical treatment. Their injuries aren't thought to be serious.
