25 World War Two veterans were presented with their Arctic Star medals in Trowbridge on Friday.
Members of the Arctic Convoys and the Bomber Command received their awards from local MP Andrew Murrison.
The honours are only being given out now after a lengthy campaign by veterans and their relatives.
The Arctic Convoy ships made repeated journeys in sub-zero temperatures to ensure vital food and arms supplies reached Russia during the war.
