NFU calls for badger cull report to be published soon

The controversial six week cull of badgers in west Somerset has come to an end.

The pilot scheme was part of the Government's plan to control the spread of TB in cattle. Opponents claim that vaccination would be a better way to stop the spread of the disease.

James Small, Somerset Chairman of the National Farmers Union now wants the official report to be published as soon as possible.
