A section of the A350 near Trowbridge will not reopen until at least 3pm following a fatal road collision this morning.
The collision between a lorry and a car happened shortly before 6:20am near the Stoney Gutter crossroads. The male driver of the car was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team remain on the scene and work continues to recover the lorry. The A350 remains shut between the Semmington Roundabout on the A361 and the West Ashton crossroads. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
