Titanic violin expected to make thousands at auction

An auction is taking place in Devizes tomorrow that is attracting worldwide attention. Up for sale is a violin which - is claimed - to have been played as the Titanic sank. It is likely to become the most expensive piece of memorabilia from the ship.

For years the instrument was left in an attic. It is broken and can't be played, but is expected to fetch more than two hundred thousand pounds Our Wiltshire reporter Robert Murphy has been to see it.
