All four police officers have been given unconditional bail to appear for a hearing on May 29. A trial date has provisionally been set for November.

PCC asks why investigation is taking so long

Four more Avon and Somerset police officers are being investigated over their dealings with a man who was murdered and set alight outside his Bristol home. It takes the total number being questioned by the Independent Police Complaints Commission to 16.

Bijan Ebrahimi was killed last July after he was wrongly accused of being a paedophile. The Police and Crime Commissioner has tonight told ITV News that she'll seek answers over why the investigation is taking so long. Our Bristol Correspondent Richard Payne reports.
